Plain-English Service Terms
These terms apply to Marketing By Kevin press release writing, managed distribution, Authority Stack campaigns, and approved advertorial projects. They explain the transaction before payment. They do not replace a publisher’s current editorial rules or create a guarantee about independent media coverage, search-engine position, traffic, leads, or sales.

Who Controls What?
The acceptance and refund terms below follow this division. MBK guarantees only the responsibilities expressly stated for the purchased service.
1. One Project, Not a Retainer
Each single-release purchase covers one eligible announcement and the package shown at checkout. An Authority Stack purchase covers the exact number of distinct releases, search plan, routes, and reporting stated in the approved package. There is no subscription, recurring fee, required call, or open-ended public-relations engagement.
2. Eligibility Comes Before Production
The customer must complete the eligibility process and provide accurate company, contact, announcement, category, and authorization information. MBK may move a high-scrutiny project to manual review, recommend a different verified route, or decline the placement before production when the submitted category, claims, evidence, or purpose does not fit the available publishers.
3. Customer-Written Releases
For distribution-only orders, the customer supplies final publisher-ready copy and is responsible for the truthfulness, substantiation, quotations, identities, permissions, trademarks, images, and other rights in that copy. MBK performs a mechanical and route-fit preflight, formatting, submission management, and applicable status communication. Substantive rewriting is not included.
4. MBK-Written Releases
For writing orders, the customer supplies complete verified facts, authorized quotations, supporting sources, contact information, and media rights. MBK prepares the release for the purchased route and includes reasonable revisions to the same announcement during the active 30-day production window. A different event, product, central claim, company, or intended story is a new project.
The customer approves the exact copy before submission. The publisher retains final authority over acceptance, title, formatting, labeling, links, media, corrections, distribution, and presentation. If a publisher requests compliant changes, those changes may extend the timeline and may require renewed customer approval.
An Authority Stack uses several genuinely distinct releases mapped to different primary search intents and business questions. It does not promise several rankings, permit duplicate stories to be represented as diversification, or guarantee that every planned angle will remain eligible after fact intake. If a planned angle lacks a real, supportable news event, MBK may replace it with another customer-authorized angle within the purchased count. Each exact release requires customer approval before submission.
6. Publisher Acceptance Guarantee
An eligible MBK-written release includes the Publisher Acceptance Guarantee. MBK will make reasonable compliant editorial corrections and resubmit without another writing fee. If MBK ultimately cannot obtain acceptance on the purchased route, MBK will refund the complete writing-and-distribution amount paid for that release.
7. Distribution-Only Refund
If customer-written copy is declined, the customer may revise and resubmit within the active project window or request a full refund of the distribution charge. Once the release is accepted and published through the purchased route, the distribution service has been performed and the distribution charge is not refundable.
8. Customer-Caused Delays or Ineligibility
Refund protection does not cover false or incomplete intake, undisclosed warnings or legal disputes, missing authorization, infringement, fabricated or unsupported facts, a change in the customer’s desired announcement after work begins, failure to approve or respond, or an attempt to add prohibited material after eligibility. If MBK has not submitted the release, any unearned distribution amount will be returned; completed writing or evidence work may remain chargeable in proportion to the agreed scope.
9. Timing
Service timing begins only after payment verification, complete intake, eligibility clearance, and receipt of every required source and permission. Requested dates are targets until MBK confirms the exact route and production window in writing. Customer changes and publisher revisions extend the timeline.
10. Results and Reporting
MBK publishes with ranking intentions and recommends distribution only when it believes the qualified announcement has a credible path to measurable visibility. The applicable record documents the accepted release, primary publication URL or URLs, completion date, available pickup links, and available route analytics. An Authority Stack also includes the agreed search-intent map and consolidated campaign record. Downstream pickup, permanence, indexing, search position, readership, clicks, journalist interest, leads, and sales vary and are not guaranteed.
10A. 12-Month Primary-URL Deletion Protection
If the primary publisher URL for an accepted release is removed within 12 months of its original publication date, MBK will resubmit the accepted release once through the same route or a comparable eligible route at no additional distribution-management charge. The customer must notify MBK during that 12-month period and provide the original order or publication reference. This protection covers deletion of the primary publisher page. It does not cover lost search rankings, deindexing while the page remains live, changes to third-party pickup pages, publisher or search-engine display changes, later ineligibility caused by the customer or subject matter, or a request to replace the original story with a new announcement.
11. Paid and Advertorial Content
An advertorial is paid commercial content and carries the publisher’s required advertising or sponsored-content disclosure. It is not independent reporting or an endorsement. MBK writing is required for the Rare Find Advertorial. Exact properties, word limit, media, link treatment, label, duration, and route terms are confirmed before an approved advertorial payment.
12. Restricted Material
The current offers do not accept sexually explicit promotion, sports-betting or sportsbook promotion, investment advice or recommendations, literal psychic prediction or supernatural guidance claims, deceptive or illegal material, impersonation, defamation, fabricated testimonials, fake scarcity, or unsupported medical and financial claims. A lawful adjacent business category may still require manual review of the exact construction.
13. Data and Communications
Eligibility and order forms collect the business contact and production information required to evaluate and fulfill the request. Do not submit payment-card data, passwords, private medical records, customer lists, or unnecessary sensitive personal information. Form records may be retained privately for up to 180 days for fulfillment, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute handling, then deleted under the site’s retention process. Transactional order emails do not require marketing consent. Optional marketing consent may be withdrawn by replying to an MBK email.
