Regional press release distribution starts with a story worth sharing.

The advantage
Make the announcement useful before you distribute it.
A large outlet count is a poor substitute for a clear story. The planned service starts with your business goal, the question a local reader would ask, and the facts that support an actual news angle.
Regional relevance
Choose geography because people there are affected by the news—not because a map looks impressive.
Search-led planning
Connect the announcement to the question buyers, partners, or neighbors are already trying to answer.
Managed follow-through
Prepare the release, confirm approval, manage the selected route, and document what actually published.
Is this the kind of story that belongs in regional news?
Worth checking
- A location opening with a confirmed address, date, and reason it matters to the community.
- A partnership, expansion, hiring milestone, or event with named participants and verifiable details.
- A company development that changes something for a defined regional audience.
Better to wait or choose another format
- A discount or generic product pitch with no new event.
- Claims, numbers, or endorsements that the named company cannot support.
- A health-supplement promotion; this planned regional route is not being offered for that category.
Do it yourself first
A five-step check before paying for distribution
- State the event in one sentence. Say what changed, when, where, and for whom. “We are excited” is not the event.
- Collect sources and permissions. Confirm dates, addresses, the names of participants, source for each material number, quote approval, and usable images.
- Pick a useful reader destination. Send people to a page that answers the next question about the news, not automatically to a generic homepage.
- Choose the channel for the job. A direct local newsroom pitch, a broad wire, and a regional syndication network do different things. Sending a release never guarantees an independent reporter story.
- Record the outcome accurately. Keep the approved copy, submission date, accepted URLs and any report definitions. Separate “submitted,” “published,” syndicated copies, and independent coverage.
If you can do this yourself, use our DIY distribution guide. If you want a team to plan and manage the work, check the announcement.
What will be clear before this route opens
We will publish the actual coverage, price, eligibility rules, customer responsibilities, and what evidence of publication you receive before any regional purchase is offered.
For news that is ready now, compare the named services and prices currently available. Publisher review controls acceptance. No route guarantees search ranking, independent coverage, traffic, leads, or sales.
