White Label Press Release Distribution: Cost and Checklist

November 5, 2026 By Kevin Mahoney Leave a Comment

What does press release distribution cost, and does it work? For a business buying its own release, I charge about $495 to $1,295 for distribution, or $890 to $1,690 with MBK writing, and you can start with a free eligibility check today. The catch: once the publisher accepts the release, downstream pickup, indexing, rankings, traffic and leads are outside my control, and I cannot promise them.

I sell the distribution services on this page, so the prices and terms are mine.

My public prices are one-time prices for a business buying distribution for its own release. I have not published white-label or reseller terms. If you want to resell, email info@marketingbykevin.com and ask.

What is white label press release distribution?

White label means a provider does the work and someone else presents it under their own brand. I have not published white-label or reseller terms, so ask in writing before you assume it is allowed. Whoever sends the release, it names the company behind the news near the top, and that name is what the publisher and the reader see.

ACCESS Newswire lists a ACCESS Newswire reseller and partner program on its site. Ask the provider for its reseller terms directly, because the program page alone will not tell you your margin or your approval steps.

Confidentiality is the other question. Your client's facts, quotes and contact details go to the wire and then to the publisher, which decides whether to accept the release. The customer approves the exact copy before submission, so keep that approved version on file. For how approval should work inside a client team, read who should approve a press release quote.

How the process works, step by step

  1. Eligibility check. Our service page says the eligibility review is free and comes before you pay anything.
  2. Choose the copy path. Bring publisher-ready copy, or add our release production, which our pricing page lists from $395 for general business.
  3. Approve the exact copy. The client approves the final text before anything is submitted.
  4. Submission. We submit through our platform accounts to ACCESS Newswire or GlobeNewswire. The publisher reviews the release and decides whether to accept it.
  5. Publication record. After acceptance, you receive the live URLs, a publication record and any analytics the route makes available.

Timing starts only after payment is verified, intake is complete and every source and permission is in hand. Requested dates are targets until we confirm the exact route and production window in writing. Build that into any date you give a client.

What does press release distribution cost?

Prices as of September 23, 2026; check the checkout for today's. The second column includes our release writing.

Route Distribution only Distribution plus release production Where it is distributed
Signature News $495 $890 ACCESS Newswire and Newswire
Global Authority $995 $1,390 GlobeNewswire
Complete Market $1,295 $1,690 ACCESS Newswire and GlobeNewswire

Other paths on our pricing page are listed below.

Path Starting price What it is
Rare Find Advertorial (general) From $1,495, writing included A paid, labeled long-form article, placed on ACCESS Newswire routes only
Authority Stack $4,950 with release production Three distinct releases, each with its own search job
Market Presence Stack $7,950 with release production Five distinct stories, planned together

For a business buying one release, the single-release routes run from about $495 to $1,295 for distribution, or $890 to $1,690 with MBK writing. That is a ballpark, not a quote. Before you accept any quote, go through it with our guide to evaluate a press release distribution quote line.

Good to know

Our pricing page also lists EIN Presswire's $149 Basic plan as a sensible self-service choice for real news and a publisher-ready release. Its published scope includes distribution, editorial review and a report. Competitor price and scope were checked September 25, 2026; confirm current terms with EIN Presswire before buying.

What should you check before you order?

  • The headline states a real, timely news event, and the company is named near the top.
  • A valid media-contact email is included. Some routes may also need a contact name, a phone number, executive authorization or supporting documents.
  • The tone is objective and news-style. Our service terms say to avoid sales language outside an approved quotation, inflated claims, exclamation marks and all-caps emphasis.
  • Facts, numbers, quotes, rights and links are accurate and authorized, and the release has not already been published in the same form.

ACCESS Newswire sets its own editorial content guidelines and makes the final acceptance decision, so read its current guidelines before you supply final copy. An advertorial is a different product. The Rare Find Advertorial is paid, labeled commercial content with its own terms, and it is not a way to run promotional copy as a news release.

What happens if the release is not accepted, or you cancel?

Check which row matches your order before you pay.

Situation What our service terms say
Customer-supplied copy is declined You can revise and resubmit within the active project window, or request a full refund of the distribution charge.
Release is accepted and published on the route you bought The distribution charge is not refundable.
Our produced release cannot get acceptance after reasonable compliant corrections We refund the complete production-and-distribution amount paid for that release.
Primary publisher URL is removed within 12 months We resubmit the accepted release once through the same or a comparable eligible route, with no added distribution-management charge. You must notify us within the 12 months and provide the original order or publication reference. This covers the primary release only, not lost rankings, indexing changes or third-party pickups.
Problems caused by the customer Refund protection does not cover false or incomplete facts, missing authorization, a changed announcement after work begins, or failure to respond.
If we have not submitted the release, and the problem is customer-caused delay or ineligibility Any unearned distribution amount is returned. Completed production or evidence work may remain chargeable in proportion to the agreed scope.

Does press release distribution work?

We control the strategy, accuracy, route selection, submission process and the proof we deliver after publication. We do not control what happens after the publisher accepts. I do not promise any of these: which downstream sites pick up the story, search rankings or indexing positions, backlinks from third-party publications, traffic, leads or sales, and journalist coverage.

Two search rules matter here. Google's spam policies say paid links that pass ranking credit can violate them, so a distribution is not a way to buy ranking credit. Google's helpful content guidance recommends helpful, reliable, people-first content, which is why we start from a real news event rather than a keyword.

On reach, GlobeNewswire's distribution service page says its current U.S. network lists Yahoo Finance among its destinations. No specific pickup is guaranteed.

For a sense of what reporting can look like, one analytics report for one campaign shows 7,956 views, 1,142 unique readers and 203 clicks over five days. That is one campaign in one five-day window, not an average or a forecast.

Key finding

Can you distribute a press release yourself instead?

Yes. You do not need an agency to send your own announcement. You need a real news event, approved facts, a relevant destination and a way to measure what happened. A newswire and a journalist pitch are different jobs, so choose either or both on purpose. Our guide to press release distribution versus journalist pitching walks through that choice.

If you do it yourself, review the outcome after 7 and 30 days. Compare your site's referral visits and qualified inquiries against the goal you set before publishing, and keep publisher-reported views separate from visits to your site and from sales. For a smaller budget, our guide to press release distribution for small business covers the cost and process in more detail.

Before you order or resell, confirm these

  • If you plan to resell, an email to info@marketingbykevin.com to ask about reseller terms before you promise a client anything.
  • Which publisher route fits your client's subject, confirmed before you sell it.
  • Written authorization from the client for facts, quotes, contact details and media rights.
  • Current prices at checkout. The prices above were shown on September 23, 2026, and may have changed.
  • ACCESS Newswire's current content guidelines, read before you supply final copy.

When you have a real announcement and approved facts, start with our press release distribution services page. The eligibility check is free and comes before payment.
